This cultural excursion will take you to one of the colourful local Berber markets. Mornings are the best time to visit local markets - a time of bustling interaction between Berber traders and local people who travel from far and wide to stock up on fresh supplies. We allow 2 hours to explore the market - plenty of time to amble, people watch and enjoy a refreshing cup of mint tea.

This trip operates every day of the week except Sundays to coincide with local market days. Market day in Ourika is Monday (80 mins each way); Amizmiz is Tuesday (70 mins each way, 37 km); Ijoukak is Wednesday (1 hour each way, 40 km); Tameslohte is Friday (1 hour each way); Asni is Saturday (25 mins each way, 14 km). A local driver-guide accompanies the trip and will assist with translation.
